Start at the soles of your feet, brush your skin towards your heart paying special attention to your joints where lymphatic fluid may collect. When you start on your arms, begin at the hands and work upward. Use firm, small strokes upwards, or work in a circular motion. For the stomach, work in a counterclockwise pattern. Dedicate at least 3-5 minutes to brushing. 

Dry Brushing CAN BE USED ANYTIME OF THE DAY BEFORE showering or BATHING. FIRST THING IN THE MORNING IS ESPECIALLY ENERGIZING. WHEN BRUSHING IN THE EVENING, YOU CAN USE MORE GENTLE STROKES; PREPARING YOU FOR REST. WHICH CAN RESULT IN A RELAXED MEDIATATIVE SELF-CARE RITUAL.

Please note: Do not dry brush on skin that’s broken, has cuts, or if skin is inflamed or IRRITATED.
